The best thing about heading
south west for the Fourburrow point to point, which took place near
Newquay on Easter Monday, is watching the endless queues of traffic
blocking the carriageway out of Cornwall in the opposite

surface. Second -placed Eric's Way (Richard Woollacott) collapsed
in the paddock afterwards, suffering from the heat, but was revived
after being doused with water.
The open maiden was divided on
declaration, the first being won by Colin Heard on the Frost owned
